Nat & Betsy McIntyre have been happily married and living in a quirky apartment in Minneapolis for three years. They both quit their jobs, or were voluntarily laid off, and planned on traveling around the US doing odd jobs and farming. That plan didn’t work out the first few tries they gave it, so now they are simply continuing their search for purposeful work and a the meaning of life. This blog is about that, and about food and family and general daily adventures.
Nat is a freelance writer and editor, whose in-progress website will eventually be natmcintyre.com He loves reading to his wife, being vegetarian, and just about anything having to do with bikes and other machines he can tinker with.
Betsy does freelance wedding, commercial, and portrait photography (sometimes with her sister Lacey) and her work can be found at luckypennyphoto.com She loves photo adventures, being read to, experimenting in the kitchen, and taking pictures of food.
The happy couple currently resides at Nat’s parents’ house, which is much more pleasant than you would imagine. They are both trying to figure out what they want to be when they grow up, and are having a jolly good time taking it easy while they do.
